Williams & Co. are a firm of chartered accountants established over 30 years ago, based in Easingwold and York. We offer a complete range of accountancy services for personal and business clients, providing professional advice throughout the UK. Our offices are easily accessible by car, but we are always willing to arrange meetings at your premises.
We offer a free initial meeting to discuss what services you need.

We provide accounting and bookkeeping services for a wide variety of clients. Sole traders, partnerships and limited companies from a range of industries.
We can help you with day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT returns (that are MTD compliant), year-end accounts and Companies House filing requirements.
Tax Planning
We will always to work with you so that you understand your tax affairs, and will ensure they are correctly maintained.
We can help you with corporate and personal tax planning which will ensure your affairs are structured in the most tax efficient way.
Business Start-Up
If you are thinking about starting trading we can explain the steps you would need to take in establishing your business, including the tax implications and bookkeeping requirements.
We would consider whether you are better suited to operating as a sole trader/ partnership, or forming a limited company. We can deal with all the administration involved in starting your business, including setting up payroll schemes and VAT registration.
Payroll
We maintain payroll records for clients using advanced computer software, which meet HMRC's requirements for electronic filing of monthly and annual returns.
All you need to provide us with are the amounts you want to pay your employees each month and we provide you with details of net pay for each employee together with their pay slips. We will deal with the administration required by HMRC.
